Update on Judaica
November our classes will be filled with preparing for holidays!
Thanksgiving is just like the holiday of Sukkot…. being thankful for the harvest. And don’t forget all the good food!!! We say Todah Rabah… many thanks…. each time we eat. With a blessing over cookies or fruit or challah or a Thanksgiving feast, we are thankful to HaShem for all that we have. We give thanks each morning as well, when we sing our prayer, Modeh Ani.
Would you believe that 6 days after Thanksgiving comes the holiday of Chanukah this year???? So we’ll be busy this month with sevivonim (dreidels) , levivot (potato latkes) , nerot (candles), and Maccabees. Listen for all the songs that we love to sing! Chanukah Sameach! (Happy Chanukah!)
