Parent Involvement
The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) offers a variety of programs to help parents get more involved in their child’s education. The PTA at the JJC is combined with the Preschool parents, Day School parents and Religious School Parents. PTA meetings occur monthly. Our PTA is responsible for so many special memories and services throughout the school year. They sponsor Teacher lunches during Pre-Planning, Back to School Breakfasts for new and existing families, Parent Socials, Family Shabbat dinners & many more activities. The PTA volunteers their time to plan many of the fabulous school-wide events.
In the JJC Preschool, we also have our own Preschool Parent Association (PPA) which is a smaller part of the PTA. This is only for our Preschool Parents and focuses on Preschool events and needs. The PPA meets once monthly usually on Wednesday mornings after Preschool drop-off.
