Melissa Garber
My name is Melissa Garber and I am a floating teacher at the Jacksonville Jewish Center this year. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and received my BS in Communications from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio in 1991. I worked in TV production for 18 years doing graphics for both TV news stations and live sports. I met my husband, Mike, while working together in Tampa and we have been married for 14 years. We have lived in several cities since being married; Tampa, San Francisco, Tucson and Columbia, SC. In the summer of 2008 we moved to Jacksonville for my husband’s job with First Coast News and we love it here! All 3 of our kids attend the Martin J. Gottlieb Day School and The Jacksonville Jewish Center Preschool; a 4th grader, a 1st grader and one in VPK. I love to cook, garden and take LOTS of pictures.
